In summer 2014 I was shooting a campaign for Pocket London, the brand of Louise Thompson from ‘Made in Chelsea’. We were shooting around Chelsea and one of the models suggested a street off of the Kings Road for an impromptu final image. It had rained all week and we had a perfect sunny day for shooting so everyone was keen to shoot longer. Being a lover of pastel colours, I loved the street. On the day we were shooting bold, neon prints and although the contrast worked well and we got some great shots, I was inspired to come up with a story that sat better amongst the houses.
I had an idea to go back and shoot there with a colour camouflage story. I wanted each outfit to be all one colour and correspond with the house outside.
Here are some behind the scenes from the day. (Awkwardly I am wearing a very similar outfit nearly a year later!)
A few shots from the final story..
